The Route: Connect via Madrid or Barcelona out of Granada Airport (GRX) using Iberia or Vueling.
The Seville Shortcut: Drive or take a bus to Seville Airport (SVQ), then catch a 1-hour direct flight to Lisbon (LIS) via TAP Air Portugal.
The Route: Approximately 740 km driving west past Seville, crossing into Portugal's Alentejo region via the A-49 / A22 (or north via Badajoz on the A-5).
The Route: Direct long-haul coaches operated by Alsa from Granada Bus Station to Lisbon (Oriente or Sete Rios).
The Route: Highly complex. Requires taking the AVE high-speed rail to Córdoba or Madrid, transferring to regional lines toward Badajoz, crossing the border to Entroncamento, and taking a CP train down to Lisbon.
Verdict: Only recommended if you are intentionally planning a multi-day slow-travel rail holiday.
