The Jazz festival in Granada is brilliant.
If you like jazz it would be a great time to visit Granada.

The weather is often really good in November and everyting is cheap because it is low season.
Over the years the Jazz Festival has attracted some big names.
I saw Miles Davis one year.
Throughout the Jazz festival there is a lot of Jazz in bars as well as at the big venues.

Granada’s festival is legendary for its longevity. It has hosted the "Holy Trinity" of jazz: Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and Herbie Hancock. Unlike many modern festivals, Granada keeps a deep focus on Mainstream and Bop, while often incorporating the local flavor of Flamenco-Jazz fusion.

Teatro Isabel la Católica

The heart of the festival. This is where the international headliners play. It’s elegant, formal, and centrally located near Puerta Real.

Eshavira Club

Hidden in the Albaicín, this is where the real "after-hours" magic happens. Famous for late-night jam sessions and flamenco-jazz roots.

Bohemia Jazz Café

A classic, quirky café filled with jazz memorabilia. Perfect for a drink and a more intimate, relaxed musical performance.

Lemon Rock

A modern hostel/venue that often hosts the "off-program" sessions for a younger, high-energy crowd.
